It is showing that it is NOT using SSL, which is what you would expect. It is
listing parameters followed by their values.
Protocol: POP3
Port: 110
Secure (SSL): No
etc.
The socket error: 11001 tells you what the error was. In this case, 11001
basically means "host not found". The actual Winsock error description for
11001 is:
11001 Requested database information does not exist; as confirmed by an
authoritative host
Yes, it was a DNS lookup problem, prehaps just transitory. Yes,
Outlook/Outlook Express error messages leave something to be desired...
