To see if your RaQ2 uses the old system, just type in passwordx where
password is your 8-character password. If you can login, the RaQ2 uses
only 8 characters; if you get a password error, your RaQ2 uses more than
8 characters.
My RaQ2 did NOT allow me to log in; ergo it uses more than eight
characters in it's passwords <smile>.
I tried the same thing with my RaQ3; it DID allow me to log in <frown>.
