RE: [cobalt-security] Does Cobalt SSH pkg support SFTP?

The OpenSSH FAQ (http://www.openssh.com/faq.html) says that it does
not support SFTP subsystem yet, but it will in the next release after
2.2.0. If you need secure file transfers to your cobalt from a
windows machine, I recommend pscp, which comes with PuTTY
(http://www.chiark.greenend.org.uk/~sgtatham/putty/).

Subject: [cobalt-security] Does Cobalt SSH pkg support SFTP?

Hello, just wondering if the OpenSSH pkg's at http://pkg.nl.cobalt.com/
support SFTP, or secure-ftp. We use f-secure's 4.2 client which has
a WS_FTP like graphical interface to securely transfer files under SSH.
Unfortuantely when we try this, it is unsuccessful and looking at the
syslogs, it says that the "subsystem" is missing. Anyone able to get
SFTP working possibly on a different client or program?
Thanks in advance,
-
