How long is your password? More than 8 characters? If yes, try only
entering the first 8 or so.
If not, a "hardcore" solution would be to put the RaQ's harddisk into
another machine, mounting it, editing /etc/shadow and removing the
password entry for root (only delete the password characters
"CP8dkfdlLDPEPE" or so)
