I'm trying to setup a Win98/2K client to RaQ3i server VPN.

I've successfully compiled / installed pptpd 1.0.1 and can authenticate from
Win2K to the RaQ successfully.
When pptpd tries to handoff the connection to pppd, the connection dies and
pppd errors out with several lines of:

can't locate module ppp-compress-XX

where each XX is one of 21, 18, 26, 24

Obviously, I don't have the kernel modules installed.  I have downloaded
pppd 2.3.11, with the mppe patches installed.

Has anyone successfully gotten pptpd working without needing to rebuild the
kernel?  (It's a production box...)
