I think it's fair to say that there already is heightened activity.  My
attention was drawn by the logs of defacements done by 'PoizonB0x', as
catalogued on http://defaced.alldas.de/

So far, that one group have done 300 .cn domains and over 100 .tw domains,
most of them recently.  I don't have info regarding attacks on US sites,
but someone did send me the following URL this morning:

http://defaced.alldas.de/mirror/2001/04/30/www.uschamber.org/

I'd be really nice if people had something more constructive to do with
their time.
