Thom,

We have not found many instances where the patch is the cause of the
problem. The likely source is something else you may have done to the
site or something that was incorrectly set in the first place. If you
are using Frontpage, this is a known troublemaker (then again, MS is
what it is).

To uninstall a patch:

SU - to root
cd to /var/lib/cobalt/uninstallers
type ./<filename of package to uninstall>
Reboot

The package should be removed... However, since this made kernel
modifications, I do not know how well it would uninstall. You would do
so at your own risk.
