How do we stop the RaQ from listening to a port?
For example, port 109 is POP2, which I don't use. Portsentry listens
on that port.
How can I just slam the port shut?

Or here's another one... TCP port 514. This is a shell command port. I
want that turned OFF! I don't even want PortSentry listening to it, I
want it to be gone!
I've got two things running in my inetd.conf... ftp and pop3.
Yet all of these other ports are open, even though I'm not running
this crap... and PortSentry has to bind to them because they're open.

How can I just close them and be done with it?
I've thought of taking your 'disable IMAP' instructions and modifying
them for some of this other stuff, but have been too nervous to do
that.

I mean, what is the use of commenting out things in the inetd.conf
file if it's going to leave those ports open anyway?? Huff.
If the service isn't running then the port shouldn't be available.

(And please realize my frustration is coming from my lack of
knowledge, so be gentle. *s*)
