That's *raw* ports 1 & 6, not TCP ports. They're used for ICMP and TCP
traffic internally within the kernel.

Before we go any further down this road can I suggest that, as this is the
Security list, subscribers acquaint themselves with what some of the terms
really mean, and what your RaQ is doing when it states certain things?

It strikes me that while paranoia is A Good Thing, paranoia through
inexperience is gonna give at least a couple of you some serious cardiac
problems in the not too distant future ;-)
