[cobalt-security] Security Plan

Hi all

I have just been given the responsibility for a couple of Raq3's to setup as
web servers. Part of the process is to obviously create a security plan.
What I need is a list of recommended tools to use as part of the security.
Doing searches on the internet brings thousands of different tools that seem
similar and would take too long to review each one.

Could you please send your recommended tools to me. I've being browsing this
list for the last few weeks and notice that Portsentry is fairly popular.
However, I'm also looking at tools that do the following:

* Check Logs (kernel messages, ftp , www etc)
* Check signature of binaries (for trojans etc.)
* ...and anything else recommended!

Any other security suggestions for the Raq / Linux would be appreciated.
