Don't know that much about it yet, but some things to speed you onward:
The ipchains-HOWTO has some detail on log messages. http://www.linuxdoc.org
if you can't find it anywhere else, although it's probably on your system
("locate ipchains | grep HOWTO").
The last thing (#11) I think is the rule number that caused the DENY.
