| you that are running remote servers. i'm going to have several remote
| qubes running that shouldn't be mucked around with. if it's this easy
| to get into the box...
got in touch with someone who passed along a fix for this. scripts that
control the lcd are in /etc/lcd.d and the one that runs this function is
reset_password. they weren't sure what would happen if i removed the
entire thing but it should be ok if i modified the code a bit. so i
modified it a little and everything seems to be peachy with it now.
