Re: [cobalt-security] SSH access when off at GUI ??

David,

My apologises for confusing the issue :>

<snip>
There is no ssh in the GUI, there is ssl and they are two different
things. SSH is installed by someone on the machine and it was not a
program put there by Cobalt. Yes you can download it from Cobalt and you
probably need to update it. ssh basically lets you do the same things as
with telnet, but with a secure login. Please correct me where I am
mistaken.

We took over the lease of the machine and SSH was already installed this
being our first Cobalt I assumed this was a standard install. I've check to
see which version is on the box and it's OpenSSH Release 2.9p2-1

What I was trying to find out was; I have telnet/shell deactivated in the
GUI, are there any know issues with RaQ & SSH and can anyone hack in through
SSH ?

Regards

Chae
