Perhaps, but its a big security issue!
Limit shell access to the server to anyone who does not need it.
Disable Telnet and install the OpenSSH 2.9p2 package from
http://pkg.nl.cobalt.com/packages/raq/3/

I want to give users SSH access to the box, but I am worried about users seeing
other files/folders is there a way to stop them 'browsing' the contents ....
