[cobalt-security] Problems running nessus

I'm trying to get nessus up and running to do routine checks of my RaQ4's,
however, every time I try to start the daemon with
nessus -D
it replies with
"bind : Address already in use"

I've checked the posts about this product that I've been able to find, and
they suggest that this is caused by having a copy of the product already
running, but it isn't. I've even tried assigning extra IP addresses to the
machine, but it still complains with the same error.
Can anyone offer any suggestions?
