[cobalt-security] help with nessus on a RAQ4

Dear all

OK I'm stumped, yesterday I installed nmap then nessus (as in nessus.org). I
start trying to use nessus, create a user account etc. and nothing ..command
not found. So I look for the software... where is it installed I can't find
it.
I run nmap...
3001/tcp   open        nessusd
and there it is (I think) running, so where is it installed????
also one other quick question I have number of directories like this
/proc/6/fd
and I can't into them even as root. what are they? is this OK?
