Hi Alex,
the easy way to do this is to use a "Custom Protocol" from the
Firewall menu in the Phoenix GUI (Sun Cobalt Adaptive Firewall). You
can setup a "TCP session" protocol on port 444 there.
Hope this helps,
Mark.

Subject: [cobalt-security] Adaptive Firewall question again
I turned on the Adaptive Firewall on a Qube3 with the
web (port 80), POP2/3, IMAP2-4, ssh ports open. Most
things work fine except for the webmail reader which
uses port 444. So my question is what do I need to
allow in order for port 444 to be opened or is there a
way around the java SMS GUI to configure the Adaptive
Firewall so I can just open this port. Is their a config
file, say in the inetd.conf, to open this port with tcpwrappers?
