I fetched the ProFTPD RPM for the RaQ3 and installed it on mine. Without
"--force --nodeps" it complained about a pamconfig conflict. With "--force
--nodeps" /var/log/messages soon started to fill with the following error
messages:
proftpd[1814]: AllowChmod is deprecated, and will not work consistantly, use
<Limit SITE_CHMOD> instead.
After reading up a little on the available configuration options in
/etc/proftpd.conf I fetched RaQ3-All-Security-4.0.1-10108.pkg, extracted
proftpd-1.2.2rc1-C2.i386.rpm from it and reinstalled it for now.
Are you sure your new RPM doesn't need a modified configuration file?
