I had a similar but different problem with a Java Servlet. It turns out that on the Raq the Tomcat
Policy file is rewritten every time apache starts by a cobalt perl script.
The script is located ( on our machine ) here:
/usr/java/jakarta-tomcat/bin/cobalt_config.pl
There are several lines which begin
print NEW_POLICY " permission java.io .....
You will have to add your own line here with the appropriate permissions. I am not much of a
Java guru so I don't really know what these would be in your case.
Maybe someone else can help here ?
