Hi,
I am currently trying to create a new security policy for our RAQ4 (we were
hacked a little while ago, so now no detail is too small) and I was
wondering if anyone's got any suggestions for a secure FTP system that's
suitably invisible to clients. I've looked into SSH but I'm not really
willing to grant shell access. I've also looked at Kerberos, which is fine
if the clients are all using Macs and Fetch but I can't find a decent
client for windows.
The only other solutions I can find that look viable use SSL (FTP wrapper
and a couple of others I can't remember the names of). Is any one using
these on RAQ? If not how do you deal with the problem?
Thanks,
Tim King
