Subject: [cobalt-security] multiple ip's - pmfirewall - ipchains
Hello all,
I have been following the list for the last few weeks with regards to
the
ipchains/pmfirewall posts.
Just when I thought I had it licked, one of the posts mentioned problems
with multiple ip's on the same box.
I have read all of the posts and scoured google for answers but come
across
loads of conflicting info.
my questions are:
Is it possible to have ipchains configured via pmfirewall on a single
box
with multiple ips? (box runs webserver, ssl, ssh, email)
If the above question is true, can anyone give a newbie a hand tweaking
the
config files created by pmfirewall to support multiple ip's?
What about rcf firewall? Some of the info i found on google suggested
rcf
where multiple ips were being used.
Thanks in advance all.
Marcus
