I have portsentry, hostsentry and logcheck. Lately in my security reports I
get few hundreds of these:
May 6 13:04:33 qube3 sendmail[1355]: rejecting connections on daemon MTA:
load average: 21
May 6 13:04:50 qube3 sendmail[1355]: rejecting connections on daemon MTA:
load average: 29
May 6 13:05:05 qube3 sendmail[1355]: rejecting connections on daemon MTA:
load average: 34
May 6 13:05:20 qube3 sendmail[1355]: rejecting connections on daemon MTA:
load average: 37
Should I worry? What else could I check to see if that was something
internal (antivirus activity) or something external (someone hacking).
