Not imho.
The discussion is about limiting users who can su to root from their own
login. That's a security issue. Stallman either wrote or designed the
program su, and he's giving his reason he didn't install security into
it.
Others have responded with how the pam module gives it security anyway.
Sure sounds ontopic to me.
