Hoorah! it worked for me also
This is what netcraft says;
==================================================================
Apache/1.3.20 Sun Cobalt (Unix) mod_jk mod_ssl/2.8.4 OpenSSL/0.9.6g
PHP/4.1.2 mod_auth_pam_external/0.1 FrontPage/4.0.4
===================================================================
Please note OpenSSL/0.9.6g
I have done 4 server so far, back to it.....
Only this one was a RaQ4r and I used
( I had to get an SRPM to get apache)
untar apache-1.3.20
untar openssl-engine-0.9.6g
untar mod_ssl-2.8.4-1.3.20
cd mod_ssl
./configure --with-apache=../apache_1.3.12/ \
--with-apxs=/usr/sbin/apxs \
--with-ssl=../openssl-engine-0.9.6g
make
cp /etc/httpd/modules/libssl.so /etc/httpd/modules/libssl.so.save
go into pkg.sslmod and
cp libssl.so /etc/httpd/modules/
/etc/rc.d/init.d/httpd restart (reload might work)
Thanks Garett,
I knew there had to be a way to replace linssl.so
