just my 2cent and has been discussed extensively here:
if you do a clean install anyway, I'd suggest to grab the raq4 restore-cd and put the raq4-os on the raq3 (works flawless).
you'll get a bit more security-updates in return, so it's worth the wait imho to do it this way.
and afair it's redhat 6.2 then (correct me if I'm wrong please).
