Yes, then I got info that process pafalertd was something present in the
security hardening packet some kind of Alert Server.. But no answer
about what exactly it does and not anything about listening on port
3731, and listening for what?

If you try to make a point out of that if I was only using my head I
should have known this since I have installed a hardening packet. I must
say that when installing this packet I must have been missing the fact
that it installed something called pafalertd that would open a new port
on the raq that is listening for some kind of connections.
