You need to clean-up the '/' partition.
Do you have all the patches, as some moved /var/spool to /home/spool/
And Steve Bassi made a script that moves /usr/local to /home/local
I have a copy if you can't find another.
If you ever do a restore, make sure you modify the restore ISO to give you
bigger partitions.
