Declan, that's totally unrelated. Qpopper has next to nothing to do with
POP-before-SMTP. It also does not affect the "Email Server" flag in the GUI,
nor does it break or disable POP-before-SMTP.
I'm not sure what kind of problems you are experiencing, but the Qpopper-4.0.4
package has been around since earlier this year. Since then it has been
installed on hundrets of servers and the PKG hasn't been modified since then.
If the package had this kind of serious side effects, then it would have been
known earlier.
