Hi,
Have any of the people who installed SHP used this uninstall package?
How many of us are now running SHP & a selection of non sun/cobalt packages?
Is it safe for us to use this if we have updated bind, ssh etc.
In our case we have SHP on two boxes.
- Scan detection is set to: 'log only'
- Buffer Overflow is disabled
So far the SHP has had no real detremental effects for us. Is it worth us or
any other users running this cobalt uninstall package at the risk of more
problems that may take 3 months to come up with a solution again.
Why was this package not listed on cobalt announcements?
Have any of the other early adopters used this to remove SHP on a raq4?
Thanks for all replies
MJM
