Sometimes. Most upgrades go smoothly, but if for any reason the ROM
upgrade doesn't go perfectly, your server is basically useless.

If the OSRCD detects an incompatible ROM, it will prompt you to
upgrade. If you choose not to upgrade, the OS Restore will not
continue.
