I know this was discussed a while ago and I have looked at some of the
threads but I still have some questions.
Does the qube inherently proxy squid or do you have to have OS 6.4 and turn
on the web caching - I've turned it off but I can still see squid running.
Does any one have or know of a way to test if it is operating as an open
proxy on squid I found some tools on the web but don't seem to find one
specifically for squid testing as opposed to smtp.
If the qube does inherently proxy squid am I right in thinking that the
only/best solution was to use the firewall to block external connections to
port 3128?
Thanks
Regards
Gavin
