I have only just noticed that named on my RAQ4 is running as root.
Naturally I tried to change the init file to:
daemon named -u named -g named
but there is no user named or group named set up on the machine.
I had to do a similar task on my RAQ3 some time ago, but the user/group did exist on that machine.
Is it safe to create this user? How should I do this - is /usr/sbin/adduser ok?
