i've
been using a package called unison to create a clustered ftp environment and I
replicate users, directories, email, files... basically anything.. and it will
maintain all file attributes integrity... timestamp, ownership, perms,
anything..
it's
highly configurable... the nice thing is, it can work both ways of
course... you can make changes on either of the boxes.
unison
can use ssh, rsh, and its own socket.
