[cobalt-security] Patching (Updating) Mr. Blue

Hi List,

I've decided it's time to bite the bullet and start
updating (patching) my little blue guy in hopes of
bringing him a bit more up-to-date. But I was
wondering if possibly Michael or anyone else who's
already passed me with updates could provide some feed
back on the path of least resistance in my endeavor. 

My RaQ3 (cough, uhm I mean RaQ4) is patched up to the
Apache & SSL Update 2.0.1 on Sept 25. The next patch
that needs to be installed is the IMAP Update 2.0.2
from Nov 4. My system is running Michael's
(Solarspeed's) unofficial sendmail patches (both of
them) as well as his BIND 8.3.3-2 and Qpopper 4.0.5
updates -all of which I treasure and thank him for his
support and contribution. I've noticed my system loads
dropped dramatically after installing Qpopper 4.0.5..

My question is - Do I need to uninstall any of the
above patches from Michael in order to proceed with
the SUN patches -or can I just truck on through as
is..<?>  I didn't know if the IMAP update might
interfere with the Qpopper 4.0.5 update -so I thought
I'd better ask first.. I figure that when I get to the
"offical" SUN/Cobalt sendmail updates that I'd have to
stop and ponder my next course of action -but the IMAP
patch tossed me a loop.. 

Has anyone successfully added these SUN/Cobalt patches
that have the other mentioned patches installed, or
did you have to uninstall them first before
proceeding..? 

I just had a second RaQ3 (uhn RaQ4) reloaded from
scratch this weekend and I easily and successfully
updated the system with all the SUN/Cobalt patches
(first) -then I added in the Solarspeed patches to
speed things up a bit -that Qpopper upgrade is a life
saver on CPU cycles on systems where users think they
have to be James Bond -checking mail every 60 seconds.

Thanks in advance for any help or insight to my
dilemma.
