Not really security-related, but...
Cobalts (along with many Linux systems, unless the kernel is compiled with support for "big files") cannot deal with files of size > 2GB
In webservers, this limit is often reached by:
/var/log/httpd/error
/var/log/httpd/mod_jk.log (if Jakarta or Tomcat along with mod_jk is used)
Either include the culprit in the log rotation, gzip it, or just delete it. And restart Apache.
