That's not a hack, not a bug, but a feature of your SPAM-Filter.
When the SPAM-Filter settings of an account are edited through the GUI and
that user does not yet have a ~/.spamassassin/user_prefs config file yet,
then the email you posted will be sent to that users mailbox.
While SpamAssassin processes that test email the ~/.spamassassin/user_prefs
config file is created and can then be edited through the GUI.
This is a work around for new users which have not yet received any emails and
therefore are lacking said config file.
