Would the syntax of the rule not be the same even if the range
may not be right?

The syntax will be the same - you just need to enter the correct IP range and the port you require open.

It's been a while since I configured ipchains or iptables so can't remember the exact command syntax but remember that "man ipchains" and "man iptables" are your friend.

Assuming that you already have some rules setup then you need to append rules in ipchains and iptables to allow access for 207.6.0.0/16 (207.6.0.0 255.255.0.0).
