Yes I have been getting a surge since the weekend, along with a lot of
spoofing attacks on my firewall.

I've been getting slammed by a joe-job running around South America(mainly Brazil, but also Argentina). It was so bad I put up a blockfor 200.0.0.0 on port 25.
