Just want to say that I highly recommend that PortSentry users who are
using the 'just to be aware' settings, bump it up to the 'really anal'
level. (Lines 31 and 32 in portsentry.conf.)
I did this just this morning, and have become inundated with Attack
Alerts about people trying to connect to all sorts of UDP ports. With
PortSentry on the normal settings, it never would have noticed them -
makes me wonder how many it didn't prior to this morning.
Maybe they can't do anything on these ports anyway and like PortSentry
says, I'm being "really anal" *wink*, but I feel better knowing those
ports are being watched.
