[cobalt-security] The sniffer problem

...is anybody else still getting the lack-of-network-connectivity after
running a sniffer?  Using the latest kernel update, it still does it on my
RaQ.

Using ettercap 0.5.0, with Snort (intentionally) already loaded.  Using
crontab to schedule a reboot job, so when the RaQ disappears off the
Internet it reappears.

I've stripped out all the loadable kernel modules from the kernel,
disabled ipchains, etc etc.  No difference.
