The bottom line is that raq4's aren't technically red hat systems anymore.
They are heavily modified to support the GUI and the hardware upon which
they are running. Therefore, you can't easily upgrade to the next release of
red hat. Is there a particular reason you want to upgrade? If you're looking
for a kernal upgrade, you probably should wait until the cobalt people
release it, unless you have serious linux abilities.

I'm not sure what you mean by restart. Upgrading to RH7.1 would essentially
be upgrading just about every peace of software on the raq. Upgrading the
software would obviously require a restart. In fact, I would plan on having
your server off line for at least a few days if you're serious about going
through with this upgrade.
