If all anyone is worrying about is telnet or ssh dying... why not utilize the
console port that comes standard on all RaQ's? Seems odd that we would install
more services to back up the others. You can easily have a OOB access router on a
backend/private network on a seperate VLAN (or physical LAN) that's serial cabled
to all of your RaQ's. An easy back door for you or your admins without having to
worry about SSH or telnet going down on the boxen. If your really paranoid... for
more security measures you can even configure your OOB router to use TACACS or
radius authentication so you have to be authenticated even before you even get to
the console port of the RaQ.
