Same with you, I hadn't see you around for some time.  We should catch

I do not recommend removing in.telnetd from the box.  I do recommend
that if you are not using it to turn it off from the UI (which comments
it out from the /etc/inetd.conf file).
You don't need to have the old telnet in place to install the RPM, you
can still issue a -U and it will just install if a previous version does
not exist.
