And after all, if you're just looking to protect your own admin site,
there's nothing wrong with having to go through the "recognize the cert"
routine once, is there?

I'm a little confused with needing to use SSL with the admin GUI. I may not know what I'm talking about, but I thought that I had read awhile back that the reason the gui is on port 81 is because it runs through a semi ssl session which cobalt built into port 81. I know that when I restart http, I always get a startup message which deals with the ssl certificate.

Am I wrong in thinking that all this time that I have been running the cobalt gui via port 81 that it is not secure?

I'm a little perplexed...
