[cobalt-security] How to check for Security Intrusions ?

I have had a Raq3 for almost a year and have never checked for security
intrusions.  I run 6 websites on the Raq3.  Is there any general (or
specific) documentation on how to check for security hacks and what to look
for?  I am just new to this stuff and trying to learn how to keep a check on
this.  I keep the Raq3 updated with Cobalt updates.  Thanks for any help.
