After all this talk about ports that should be open, I closed a lot of
ports (like IMAP) and got a win-2000 portscanner from http://www.foundstone.com. This one works
fine and all the ports it reports are known to me, except for one: 1002. This is
an unassigned number. Moreover: netstat -aln does not report it and it's not in
/etc/services.
What's happing on that port?
