[cobalt-security] Cobalt Raq Vs PC Linux OEM System! # LET'S End This #

Sorry to sort of blob out and ask to end this
Linux WhiteBox vs Blue Box.

I am zooming through mailing list 2-3 times a day
trying to find something interesting and something I can read.

I've got bad news and returned the Cobalt RAQ 4 Velociraptor Axent
turned into RAQ 4, because my partner didn't like the idea of
a box without a face. Everything scratched out from FW to nothing
and Velociraptore top left to 'wiped' out and not knowing what we
had.

It was a steal and I guess... Cobalt RAQ 4 does not make VoIP raqs :)
JK.

Although I am considering a brand new, 3 month old. for $1184.
Has 512 RAM, fresh out of the box that I use at co-lo on lease but
willing to buy and have it local. Wonder if it's worth it.

I ALREADY checked the white boxes too... again..
$400 for OEM linux 1u.
$500 for Plesk
$450 for ChilliSoft
$X.0 5 Hours of setup and such.
$X.0 1-2 Hours Daily of checking and double checking
---------
$1350.00 for an OEM. That does not include the settings and hours.

No doubt Cobalt is the way for the easy plug and play web server.
I am no a pro here but I'm a newbie and learned a bit and I must say
that Cobalt makes our lifes easier and we can focus on other things
than maintaining web servers. That's not the only thing we do and
we cannot 'only' do that.

If we have demands for more power, we buy power but we make sure the
client will pay enough to cover the cost of our server :)
