It can't be easily verified.  At best, you can 

1) kill your ssh daemon
2) sh /etc/rc.d/init.d/sshd start
3) try to connect back in

There still may be vaguries in your setup and dependencies in the 
startup scripts that are not covered under the above, but that should
cover the basics.
