Crap!, I got this message this morning and now I will have to take the box
down and look at it.
Warning: RAID device <md3> has a dead partition!
[/proc/mdstat]
Personalities : [linear] [raid0] [raid1] [raid5] [translucent]
read_ahead 1024 sectors
md1 : active raid1 hdc1[1] hda1[0] 768000 blocks [2/2] [UU] resync=2%
finish=62.0min
md3 : active raid1 hdc3[1] hda3[0](F) 205056 blocks [2/1] [_U]
md4 : active raid1 hdc4[1] hda4[0] 37947072 blocks [2/2] [UU]
md6 : active raid1 hdc6[1] hda6[0] 131456 blocks [2/2] [UU]
unused devices: <none>
Has anyone seen this problem before?, if so what is it?, is the drive dead
or do I just need to repair the dead partition?
What drives are in the older RAQ4R models so I can order a few... this is
the first time the drive has died on us but, the box is almost 2 years old
so we expected them to go out soon.
