Not to be to critical here, but I believe the command you run is "make sense".
I'm not all that swift on the 'make' and the 'make install' commands myself,
however that is the instructions on chkrootkit that I've read.
I have no clue the results of running just 'make'. I just want to make sure the
command runs correctly.

Yes, you can do that. Just download the latest chkrootkit sources and extract
'em somewhere. Then run "make" in the directory to compile the new chkrootkit
sources. Afterwards copy all files in the chkrootkit-0.39a directory over to
/home/security/chkrootkit/
